The history of the first name Eneas

The name Eneas has its origins in Ancient Greek, derived from the word "ainos" meaning "praise". It was a name found in Greek mythology, borne by the Trojan hero Aeneas who plays a pivotal role in Virgil's epic poem the Aeneid. This work, written in the 1st century BC, recounts Aeneas's journey from Troy to Italy, where he became an ancestor of the Roman people.
