The document mentions a certain Heinricus Luber, who lived in the late 11th or early 12th century.

In the 13th century, the name LUBER appears in various records from the region around Regensburg, a city in eastern Bavaria. For example, a Hermann Luber is mentioned in a deed dated 1248, while a Chunrat Luber is recorded as a citizen of Regensburg in 1274.
